Transport
The Hurstbridge trainline takes you right into Flinders Street and the Melbourne CBD. The train takes approximately 30 minutes from Macleod station.
The train also takes you out to Hurstbridge if you travel away from the city. It is the very edge of suburbia and an extremely lovely little place to visit if you have the time.

Cómo moverse
Myki passes are needed for traveling on public transport
You need a Myki pass to travel on public transport around Melbourne that can be topped up at most train stations. There is one full fare Myki pass in the information booklet in the apartment. However if you require more cards or a concession card then this can be arranged prior to your stay.

La Trobe Sunday Market
There is a craft market on every Sunday in the carpark of La Trobe University. The market is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment, along a made bike track running along side La Trobe University. When you arrive you will find lots of food stalls, crafts and plants for sale. Its a great Sunday market that runs from about 8am till 1pm. I highly recommend checking it out if.
