Insider's Guide to Kingston & the Hudson Valley

Walkable restaurants and bars!

Kingston is divided into three main neighborhoods: Uptown, Midtown and the Rondout (Waterfront). The house is located in Midtown which is less than 1 mile from the Rondout (waterfront) and 2 1/2 miles from Uptown. Here are a few great places you can walk to within about 5 minutes: 1) The Kingston Standard Brewery: small batch beers and bites 2) Village Grocery & Refillery: Great place for a coffee, breakfast or lunch plus goodies and supplies There is a path you can walk/run/bike on behind the Walgreens which will take you to the Rondout if you're feeling energetic (sometimes we drive). In the Rondout I recommend: 1) Brunette Wine Bar: Cutest place in town and a "Must Go" 2) Half Moon Rondout Cafe: Fresh Donuts made every morning! 3) Ship to Shore: Your best option for a meal and a local favorite
