AUTHENTIC Thai restaurant near Delaware Water Gap. The menu features something for everyone. Dress up or go casual. I've gone there for a lovely Valentine's Day dinner and also straight off a sweaty Delaware River canoe trip. The owners bus all the tables themselves and stop to chat with each guest. Excellent service, phenomenal food, limited bar available. Eat in or take out. It's not too busy during lunch hours. There is usually a line for dinner rush but the service and food is worth any wait time you experience.

Not what I would consider a budget conscious restaurant but you CAN eat there on a budget and leave satisfied. The food experience is truly an art form. Parks & Nature
Grab a packed lunch to go and take a steep drive up to the VERY top of Camelback Ski Mountain for a stunning, panoramic view of the Poconos. Don't stop till you reach the highest level. No hiking is necessary to take in this beautiful scene but there are very easy walking trails around the entire mountain peak. The location is wheelchair friendly and dog friendly. There are clean bathrooms available, ample parking, plenty of picnic tables, and the easiest way to take in a picturesque view of our gorgeous mountains. Surprisingly uncrowded as not many tourists know of this secret spot.

Almost immediately after starting the trail, Silverthread Falls can be seen on the right. That cascade drops 80 feet in a thin ribbon through a narrow geometric chute. The boardwalk ends at the base of Dingmans Falls.

Small town grocer with everything you need. You can find all of your staples in this clean and charming store. The deli is certainly the hidden treasure here. Made to order sandwiches are out of this world. Customize your own Italian super hoagie with Boar's Head meat on a giant LOAF of bread for just $10 and it will feed two people all day long. If there are meatballs in the hot food area, don't pass them up. Get there well before lunch time or they may run out of the super hoagie bread which is what puts these sandwiches in a league of their own!

Del. Water Gap Trolley tour is a very affordable family activity and a great history lesson on the Native American tribes that called the Pocono region their home. Original vintage trolleys have been restored to their original glory with polished wood interiors and retrofitted with air conditioning. I hired the trolley for my wedding instead of using a limo!

Original vintage trolleys have been restored to their original glory with polished wood interiors and retrofitted with air conditioning. I hired the trolley for my wedding instead of using a limo!

Shawnee River Trips provides round trip transportation and orientation. They have variable rates based on how many miles you want to canoe. One of the reasons I recommend this outfitter is that you will be shuttled to and from the Shawnee Inn which is where the restaurant and brewery is. You can get lunch and beer at the pub and take it to go on the canoe. They also have a river tube adventure and but I wouldn't recommend it unless it is a very hot day. The river is still quite cold. A 1-hour Tabata, high intensity interval training (HIIT) class is scheduled most Saturday mornings at 8AM. Taught by Level 1 CrossFit trainer, Roderick DelaPaz. Your first class is FREE and each class afterwards is $10.
Work with seasoned trainers, Eric and Dwayne, and experience CrossFit, weight training and boot camp classes. Affordable ($35) 1-hour, 1:1 personal training sessions are available, schedule permitting.
