The sand dunes here are incredible! If you find yourself on top of one, you get great view of Lake Michigan and the lakeshore. This is one of my favorite hammocking spots.

This is a county park that offers both close Lake Michigan beach-bum access and great views on top of sand dunes. My secret hammocking spot is here right off the overlook. Plus, this park is dog-friendly and has good hiking trails.

This is the first park I visited when I moved to Holland, and I have so many memories here! In the summer, the hiking trails are fantastic, and in the winter, the cross-country ski trails are a fun way to enjoy the snow.

The owner is an old co-worker of mine, and he has transformed this old grille into a lively energetic bar with live music every weekend. The Stone Burger and Capicola Chicken Sandwich are my go-to's for food.

I probably go here once a week. The NH burger and the Pepperoni Pinwheels are my go-to items for food, and all of the brews are pretty good! If you're there on a Wednesday night, take advantage of their stein nights.

A brewery that used to be located on the North side of town, this was the first brewery I visited when I moved here, and they have seriously upgraded from their small beginnings. I don't take advantage of their new location as much as I should.
