Cómo moverse
Winter Travel Advice
Heavy snow can accumulate in the Truckee/Donner area, especially at high elevations like the Donner Summit and near our house (which is located at 7,000 ft). Be sure to prepare for winter driving and snow conditions accordingly. 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive is strongly recommended, and often required to drive on I-80 during storms and harsh conditions. Chains are needed if you do not have 4WD. Do not drive on the roads during a storm unless it is critical or an emergency.
