Housed in a stunning new building the Avalon Marshes Centre is on a lowland wetland nature reserve run by Natural England. The reserve has eight marked trails for you to follow as the explore this unique environment and it's wildlife.
Inside the centre you can find out about the history of the Levels, from it's Iron Age settlements to the peat industry. There is also an arts and crafts centre here that holds exhibitions showcasing local artists.
Facilities at the centre include refreshments. A whole host of activities and events are held, from art and craft course to guided walks, talks, and lectures.
