The Old Chatham Country Store & Café, first known as the Federal Store, has been a landmark since 1787 in the village square of Old Chatham. Their quiche & savory pastries are hand-made in small batches using seasonal produce with a focus on cheeses, milk, cream and eggs from nearby producers. The pastry crusts are prepared with Bob's Red Mill flours, premium butter and sometimes enriched with olive oil, herbs & cheeses. These savories can be served warm or at room temperature and are fantastic as a light meal alongside a green salad or as a side-dish to grilled meats or fish.
