A real traditional local with a beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls serving local ales and produce in a gorgeous house dating back to the 1400’s. The pub is opposite the village green and has a lovely garden and a big carpark.

This family run fish restaurant and bar has lovely views out across the bay from the dining room and has a nice terrace area when the weather is good! We’d recommend booking in advance not to be disappointed.

Sightseeing
Beautiful all year round, it’s our favourite local beach. Accessible via a steep road or you could take the Babbacombe Cliff Railway directly down the cliff edge. Oddicombe has beach huts to rent, a well stocked beach shop and a lovely café.
A little tip – at the top of the cliffs, Hanbury’s chip shop is the best around. Get a box of fish and chips and watch the sunset over the cliffs after your day at the beach

It’s also a multi-award-winning visitor attraction housing an impressive art collection boasting over 600 incredible works of art from the 18th century to the present day. Meanwhile, the 800 Years Gallery uses state-of-the-art technology to tell the abbey’s fascinating story through videos, talking portraits and interactive displays. The tea rooms are just lovely after a day of exploring.
