Open for Breakfast-Late Lunch, this has taken the reigns as our favorite breakfast spot. Along with a very local-diner feel, you will get a lot of bang for your buck. We recommend the Eggs Benedict with Pulled Bacon, Bloody Mary, and the Brew City Nitro Coffee Latte (made with oat milk, we think it's the best in the city!) Additional perks- it's open every day of the week, which is rare for Milwaukee! (Most places are closed Mondays and only offer breakfast on the weekends!)

Many local festivals are hosted here as well. If you are a runner, there is a beautiful path along the creek through the park that is a part of the Oak Leaf Trail.

That's right, you have a cup holder in your cart, get your groceries, and grab a seat at "The Met" as we call it. $5 glasses of good wine, or grab a bottle off the shelf and drink that with a no-cork charge! And since you are in Brew City, maybe you want to check out the beer scene... Well you're in luck because you can grab a microbrew out of the cooler or on tap for... $2!!!! After a terrible hair experience at Roots Salon in The Village (downtown Wauwatosa), I started going to get my hair done with Aaron at Hot Heads. He's fantastic, very talented, and actually listens to what I want! If you go, tell him Janean sent you! :)
