Sightseeing

Penarth Pier is a short walk down the hill from Heathcliffe - with spectacular views across the Bristol Channel, there are sweet shops, a bar with takeway drinks and outdoor seating, restaurants, ice cream parlours, fish and chips shops - basically everything you could need for a stroll along the sea. There are limited parking spaces available but they are often busy so it's better on foot. Be warned it's a very steep hill to return back to town!
