The Island is connected by boat at high tide and a causeway at low tide. To walk start from by the Bus station and just follow the paved path along the beaches. It's about 30/40 minutes and easy to bus back if need be.

A big working harbour walking distance from this stay. Piers, boats, rope, rusty things.Some nice restaurants and a very good independent cinema too. The walk along the seafront to Newlyn is lovely and takes about 20/25 minutes

Its little and scenic (and walkable from the appartment if you like a decent walk). If you're after cottages and an old style fishing harbour it's nice to wander about. Also famous for its Christmas lights that fill the harbour and draw crowds...lovely and worth a visit
