We offer a wonderful trip from Ísafjörður to the island of Vigur in Ísafjarðardjúpur. The island is famous for being a bird paradise and you can count on it to see puffins, teals and eider ducks to name a few. The seals prefer to lie in piles on the skerries and the view all around is exceptionally beautiful. There is a young family who bought the island recently and live there all year round. They offer coffee in the restaurant after a guided tour. On the island there is a windmill owned by the National Museum which is well preserved and the old houses are protected. This trip is very family friendly and suitable for all nature lovers.
The voyage to the island takes half an hour and stops for 2 hours before returning to Ísafjörður.
