If you're looking for a more city feel Knoxville is a place to definitely see!
Knoxville is the home of the University of Tennessee Volunteers. Be sure to look for a sporting event to attend when you're coming because the atmosphere is unlike any other (but don't get too invested into winning)! Knoxville has a definite college town feel in certain parts, but it is easy to avoid if you would like.
Knoxville also has a beautiful downtown. Market Sqaure is located in downtown which is a 30 minute drive from your stay. There are wonderful restaurants and unique stores located all throughout Downtown Knoxville.

Dandy Lions is a small gift shop located in the historic Downtown Maryville Library. Joy Carver, the owner, has converted the library into a boutique that carries unique and specialized Maryville items. It is a must see, and it is located in Downtown, which is a must see!

The Great Smoky Mountain's is the only free national park!
Traveling to the mountains is a MUST when you come to stay! There are multiple different options. If you're interested in a gorgeous scenic drive, Foothills Parkway is perfect with occasional lookouts. If you're wanting to see wildlife and a beautiful view, driving the loop of Cade's Cove is one of my favorites. If you're interested in a challenge, Cade's Cove closes their roads to cars and lets bicyclers bike through on Wednesday mornings!

Mcghee Tyson Airport is located just 15 minutes away from Pop's Place AirBnB. This creates an easy and convenient traveling experience once arriving to Maryville. Car rentals are available at the airport, and I highly recommend it because every place is driving distance away.
