Food scene
Hands down my favorite place to eat in Midland. Priced well, great service, fun environment (fresh noodles made right in the visible kitchen), and most importantly great food. Be sure to get the noodle soup with marinated pork ribs. The dumplings too......wow. Steamed pork dumplings are my favorite.

It's a yellow taco truck, but it's the best tacos and salsa ever. No where to sit so enjoy in your car or bring back home. These guys cook probably until 10pm every night. Tacos are stellar. Get barbacoa meat! Call them ahead of time and all you have to do is show up, pay, and your out of there.

One of the more popular, elegant, nice bars in town. Drinks are spot on. The Manhattan is my favorite. No food, but its right next to a few places to eat. The Mexican spot next door would be my choice beforehand.

If you're looking for a true West Texas bar, this is it. You'll get a real feel in here for Midland. It's been here forever. Foods pretty good, unique environment, just fun. Smokers are allowed. Plenty of outside sitting.

Relativley new spot in town in a great area. Situated across the street from thenew park, Pi Social is an open, on the street bar/eatery. Great pizza and enjoy the new downtown Midland scene.

Cool place. Food here is quite good and a high end environment. It's got a cool underground bar as well after you eat which is pretty fun. Little pricy on food, but if you're up for that call for a reservation because it's popular.

This place is a hidden gem and becoming too popular so get it quick. Really good soul food like neck bone, fried catfish, and hushpuppies. Come here for a good, stomach fillin meal. Personally, the neck bone is amazing.

For the Kids
This park is almost brand new. It’s really, really special. For the kids, there’s a splash pad, big green grass field, “log” gymnasium, and more. It’s fun to grab a cup of coffee right across the street and watch the kids play.
