Most beautiful park of Amsterdam.
Food Scene
A great casual restaurant, one of my favourites in Amsterdam. Some good beers available. Nice outdoor seating in front of the restaurant. Reassuringly busy without being uncomfortably crowded. Menu offers a good selection of very tasty food, and everything we have ordered was cooked perfectly. Portions were generous. Prices are very fair. A great place for dinner and a few drinks.

Gollem's is the best. Friendly staff, great beer selection. Can get crowded. Would make a reservation. Try the Flemmish Stew! It's amazing.

he Pizza Prosciutto is to die for! De Pizzabakkers on the Overtoom has a limited amount of seats. Opt in for making a reservation if you want guaranteed awesome pizza.
We had the Antipasti misti per due which included shrimp. I personally would have left those out since in both smell and taste they took away from all of the other ingredients on the plate.

Negative reviews are either competitors or have no clue about Persian food. This is a local by all accounts. Fresh food and great kebabs. Never a bad experience. Each time I'm in A'dam I eat here without hesitation. Must try.

We really enjoyed this meal near Vondelpark in one of the quieter, more residential neighborhoods that's not teeming with tourists. Great service with sidewalk sitting or in the cozy restaurant. Started with bread, hummus, and marinated olives and then an appetizer of lightly fried zucchini (courgettes) that weren't greasy at all. The couscous royal was a sizable dish of mixed meats, all spiced and grilled perfectly and not at all dry. The lamb tangine with vegetables arrived piping hot in its clay pot and was absolutely delicious--I've never tasted lamb so tender, it came easily off the leg bone. Everything paired well with glasses of Pinot Grigio. Highly recommend!

Love it. One of the best places to get a quality burger (two actually!) And the animal style royal fries are the best!! And they have good beers, and beer pong.
