Parking is by permit only (which you can pick up at the Chamber of Commerce in the center of town), and restrooms and concession stands are available. Ditch Plains Beach has no parking, so it is free if visitors can find spots on side roads. If staying close by, walking to the beach is the best bet. It is located a little way down from Kirk Park Beach, which offers free parking.

A number of chartered ships also leave from this port, and fishing equipment and clothing can be acquired in the Basin store.
