0.7 mi - Ditch Plains Beach is known for its surfing. Beaches on the surrounding streets are named for the streets they are on (Church Beach is located near the local church). Parking is by permit only (which you can pick up at the Chamber of Commerce in the center of town), and restrooms and concession stands are available. Ditch Plains Beach has no parking, so it is free if visitors can find spots on side roads. If staying close by, walking to the beach is the best bet. It is located a little way down from Kirk Park Beach, which offers free parking.
