This is owned by Verdant who are a local brewery at the top of Falmouth. They change the beer list regularly and offer wonderful little tapas type plates of seafood. It is super tiny and is walk ins only, but well worth it if you can get a table as there is such a buzz. This is one of our absolute favs.

We LOVE Restaurant Mine, the food is delicious. The kitchen is run by Angus Bell who is a chef from The Star Inn at Harome and Le Gavroche. Last year it was listed number 15 in ‘The Times’ 40 Best Places to Eat Outside in the UK. Our guests have been loving it too, one said it was their favourite meal of the week and others said it was probably one of their best meals ever! August 2020 They have just added more tables both inside and out in the courtyard which shares a space with Chintz bar which is great fun.

Award winning fish and chips, they do gluten free options too. Great for kids when you eat in as all their food is served in a bucket which you can take with you and choose a spade from the chest on your way out! You know a place is good when the queue is down the road!! Eat in or takeaway.

New to Falmouth in 2021, we love the Hub Box, burgers are juicy and super tasty, sides are glorious and chips are great. The original Hub Box is over in St Ives and I had one of the best burgers I’ve ever had there (and I grew up back in the day when Hard Rock was the best around), Falmouth is just as good. Views are fab too, looking out towards the docks and the harbour. It’s pretty impressive when there’s a cruise ship in.

This is a really lovely beach, with the most beautiful views. It is a favourite with students as it’s walking distance to town and there are lots of water sports available including paddle board hire and lessons. It’s a pebbly beach with plenty of beach at high tide and a few rock pools at low tide. Lots of people enjoy bbq’s on the beach. There’s a great beach cafe serving coffee, ice creams, pasties and chips or the lovely Gylly Beach Cafe which has a great and varied menu to suit everyone.

St Agnes – Is a lovely little village on the north coast and has one of my favourite restaurants from our summer holiday last year – Schooners. We had crab claws with XO sauce, the Double Gravy Burger is amazing, the kids ate shell on prawns with chips, I can’t recommend it enough.

This has been our favourite spot this summer as it is quite quiet and a lovely sandy beach, great for kids. There is quite limited parking, which is partly why it remains quiet. Kiln Quay beach next door is equally lovely and there’s a great walk along the beach then along the coast to Mylor, where you will find Castaways, which is a lovely cafe/restaurant serving great local produce.
