The castle at Monseraz is a step back in time. Within it's walled village you will find cobblestone streets, food, drink, souvenirs and of course, views of the lake and valley below. When most people think "touristy" they think $$$. Not here. The establishments which offer food and drinks are very reasonably priced, and the proprietors of the businesses are beyond friendly. Stay for an hour or two, or stay for an entire afternoon and enjoy the cafes and a good glass of wine, it's all up to you!

Evora's world heritage site, the old city centre can be found within the old city walls, where you can walk the maze like streets or spend time in a city square.
