For more than 200 years, North Carolina’s capital city had no repository for its historical artifacts, no place to preserve its past, and no institution to educate its citizens and visitors. That all changed in 1993 when the COR Museum (formerly Raleigh City Museum) debuted its first exhibit. About a 10-15 min walk! Right in the center of downtown Hours Tuesday-Saturday, 9am-4pm Sunday, 1pm-4pm Closed Monday Also open First Fridays from 6pm-9pm Admission Admission is now FREE daily! A recommended donation of $5 for adults can be placed in our donation box in the gift shop.
