It's the perfect place far from the touristic scene in the historical center where you can have a cheap and exquisite meal.
From the entrance, you would never guess it's a restaurant as it is hidden behind the shop. In the shop, you can find all sort of Italian traditional products. If you walk through it, you will get into this tiny outdoor terrace and discover yourself in one of the most local Como's restaurants.
There are starters, homemade pasta and second courses (fish, meat, depending on the season and the chef' suggestions).
Mostly open at day time so you better check on the website whenever they open in the evening.
Since it's called Enoteca, that means you can also taste a glass of wine before or after lunch.
If you are an Italian food lover, this is the place to be!

Momi is situated just 15 minutes walk from our Airbnb. It's one of my favorite restaurants :)
There is a great value for money, some local tasty fish coming directly from the lake and last but not least, you can enjoy your delicious meal a few meters from the lake. Awesome view!

Frazione GirolaMomi is situated just 15 minutes walk from our Airbnb. It's one of my favorite restaurants :)
There is a great value for money, some local tasty fish coming directly from the lake and last but not least, you can enjoy your delicious meal a few meters from the lake. Awesome view!

It's a very cool experience for who's visiting Como for the first time but also for whom is madly in love with awesome views!
I would recommend getting the funicolare even though you have a car. The funicolare (cable railway) rocks and offers you a unique perspective of Como. The only downside: there might be an annoying waiting line mostly during summertime.
For the most courageous and athletic ones: you can also hike up to the top :)
That's what my dad does to exercise.
Once you step out at the top you can:
- have a coffee like a real Italian (as we drink coffee pretty often)
- enjoy an ice-cream (we like that too)
- be even cooler and walk up to the lighthouse of Brunate! It could take between 30 till 50 mins depending on how fit you are.
If you are lucky with the weather, you will enjoy one of the best views of your life!

Visite turistiche
If you feel like diving in nature I definitely recommend this hike!
It's probably a 3-4 hours walk from the highest point where you can park the car.
You will enjoy a wonderful walk in the forest and admire unique wood arts :)

Buy some food if you arrive between Sundays or Mondays.
The Airbnb house is situated in Blevio, a small village 15 mins by car from Como. The shops are closed on Mondays, so if you arrive on a Sunday afternoon/evening, make sure you have something to cook for dinner and a bottle of good wine so you can enjoy the stunning Como lake view on the balcony without worries and empty bellies.
Cómo moverse
Buy bus tickets at the train station Como San Giovanni
If you arrive in Como San Giovanni you probably want to get to Blevio by bus. I recommend buying some extra bus tickets at the bar of the station as the ones you would buy on the bus are a bit more expensive.
