A Cabo icon and tourist attraction, yet fun to experience at least once on your vacation. The food is well done, but expect to pay a little more than you would in town. Margaritas will knock your socks off too! Lunch is fun because the beach is hoping with activity. Dinner is nice because you eat by torch light on the beach.

This is in a hard to find spot tucked between office strip malls, but if you are looking for a fresh healthy meal this is the place. Everything is gluten free as a bonus! The salads are wonderful and the coffee and freshly pressed juices are great as well.

This is a sustainable organic farm with shops, and restaurant and is a wonderful afternoon trip for lunch or evening out for dinner. Its about a 45 minute drive from Cabo, and reservations are recommended for dinner.

This place is wonderful! The traditional Mexican food is upscale and absolutely delicious! The atmosphere is charming and a very traditional Mexican feel inside the courtyard of a an old historic building. You will love it here!

Every Thursday evening the historic downtown of San Jose is blocked off for the Art Walk. Stroll around the lovely old Havana style buildings, roam in and out of shops and art galleries, stop for a drink or dinner. It's a must do!! San Jose is about 40 minutes from Cabo and you can get there by city bus, or taxi.

This little town, about 2 hours from Cabo, is known for its eclectic artist community. They have wonderful little galleries, shopping and restaurants. Great day adventure, if you did not rent a car there are bus trips that go there daily as well.

This is a lovely little beach tucked into bay on the highway between Cabo and San Jose. There are restrooms but no food and beverage outlets so bring a lunch!

This place has loads of Mexican pottery and glassware of all kinds at rock bottom prices. It requires a bus or taxi to get to it but if you are in the market for more than just a plate or two it is worth the trip. The owner does not bargain here because the prices are so low and gets a bit cranky if you ask him ;-) But, they are indeed lower than what you will see in town.

This company is very efficient and professional. The guides are knowledgeable and efficient. I would recommend anything the offer but definitely recommend checking out the whale watching and electric bike tours!

Getting Around
Something to note about renting a car in Mexico; your US insurance will not cover you out of the country so you are required to purchase additional insurance when renting a car. Many rental companies do not disclose this until you check in, thus the reputation of "scamming" foreigners. This company quotes the prices up front and is a super no hassle operation. They are located in the airport parking lot so it is very easy to access. I recommend renting a car from these folks!
