The food is incredible and the chefs are living their dream and it shows in the dishes they create. So so so good!!! They often have live music on the porch which adds to the special feel.
Being wine and cheese lovers, we were blessed to find this place right away. They have an amazing selection of wine, beer and yummy cheeses and snacks. They frequently have live music. Dawn's personal favorite are the shrimp tacos with goat cheese. Yum!

Entertainment
Typical bar food, good fish tacos, but the real stand out is TRIVIA NIGHT on Thursday at 6:30. We have a lot of fun!
Join our team with Woody, Pat, Frank and Marianne (The Sandspurs) and let's see if we can beat "To The Max" or "LB3" because they always win!

This is a fun place and has something for everyone, you can sit on the upper decks, (sunny spots, shady spots) or inside in the fancier areas. The food and drinks are worth the price. The staff is very friendly. On the upper decks you can see the ocean or the sand dunes. Your pick.

Just a few doors down - Billy's is a great place to go to pick up a 1lb of cooked shrimp or crab or scallops, a few sides and eat out on our deck. Just let us know that you need a table set up. We will even clean up after, because - you are on vacation remember?

Another one of our personal favorites. They setting overlooking the sound is beautiful. Very relaxing and calming. The staff is very knowledgeable and they can accommodate any dietary needs. Lovely place.

We happened upon this place on one of our discovery travels.
If you happen to go, bring a snack! They do a generous pour of their tastings (or did when we were there). This is a great place to taste North Carolina wines.

When we first moved here we went to Publix first. Ms. Rhonda in the deli meats department made us incredibly welcome. And she is a great sales person. Ask for a sample of any of their meats or cheeses! Everyone is very friendly and will go out of their way to help you find what you are looking for, or to help you learn how to makes something. They have food cooking classes right in the store ( check the website for times and dates ).
