The Tell is your very own living space while you're with us. It's right downstairs and since re-opening in 2018 has quickly become known for some of the best food in the region, showcasing coastal seafood and locally produced meat and produce lovingly and creatively prepared. The saloon has original craft cocktails, local beers on draft and a carefully curated wine selection. Cuddle by the fireplace or hang on the patio depending on the weather.

Dillon Beach can produce some well-shaped and consistent beach breaks. The beach is wide open, and there are numerous peaks that break outside with a bigger swell. Dillon Beach can also experience strange currents as a result of being so close to Tomales Bay. Best Boards: Shortboard, funshape.

This is a sheltered and powerful beach break south of Bodega Bay. Doran Beach is located within a sheltered cove just south of Bodega Bay. The beach here is clean, large, and beautiful. And if the weather’s nice, the weekend can attract a lot of people. Luckily, very few of them come here to surf. You’ll find that the majority of visitors are here to beat the inland heat and picnic, build sand castles, or simply lie around and watch the ocean. This spot is well protected from northwest wind, which can result in picture-perfect glassy surf.

This is a powerful beach break north of Bodega Bay. Salmon Creek is a consistent beach break that can hold 10- to 12-foot swells. It can be a big and heavy wave requiring experience, wave knowledge, and skill. The beach here is wide and sandy, and several peaks offer well-shaped lefts and rights. Sand being deposited by the creek plays a large role in how far out waves will begin to break. Even when the waves are good, Salmon Creek Beach usually doesn’t seem to get crowded.

This is a 10-mile stretch of mostly west-facing beach with numerous peaks on the northwest side of Point Reyes. North Point Reyes is a 10-mile section of exposed beach break also known as “the Great Beach.” It faces west-northwest, making it very vulnerable to northwest wind. However, it can also catch a lot of swell and produce quality waves under the right conditions. The main beaches along the west side of Point Reyes are, from north to south: McClures Beach, Kehoe Beach, Point Reyes Beach North, and Point Reyes Beach South.

This is a thick and burly beach break just south of the town of Jenner. Blind Beach is a somewhat protected beach break guarded by large rock outcroppings. This beach can capture large swell from virtually any direction. Blind Beach can hold overhead swell and produce a heavy wave with fast barrels. As a result, this isn’t a very good break for novice surfers.

Good, protected bay for beginners to practice. Can occasionally get "good" a few times a year. The problem is that Duxbury Reef blocks most of the west and northwest swells, so it is usually much smaller than other places on the coast.

A fairly exposed beach break that has fairly consistent surf. Summer offers the best conditions for surfing. Offshore winds are from the northeast. Tends to receive distant groundswells and the best swell direction is from the southwest. The beach break offers both left and right hand waves.
