This is a great place to access the beach. The Shalda family were early settlers to Leelanau county and part of the reason there are references to "Bohemia" in northern Michigan. Czech it out! (pun intended)

Used to be a whole compound in the woods: little log cabin stores and a wonderful restaurant where we enjoyed many a Sunday afternoon. Anything near Torch Lake is worth a stop.
