The Spotted Mallard in Brunswick is my favourite venue - timber floors and led light - it's a charmer. It has a huge variety of live music - local and international acts. Entry to the venue is via a double stair case - and no lift - so not great if you have mobility issues. (Getting to Brunswick is a little tricky - 2 trains - 10 minutes into the city then change trains to Brunswick - another 10 minute out.
