Food Scene

The food and atmosphere are great, as is the service. It can be a little crowded on the weekends so I usually go on weeknights or just arrive on the earlier side.

Great for breakfast and can accommodate large parties. Saturdays are, of course, busy but the wait has not been very long in my experience. They are also a bakery so they have great selection of pastries and make above average espresso drinks.

Drinks & Nightlife

A jovial neighborhood bar with good eats and a nice selection of craft beers, wines and spirits. Sports on the TV's behind the bar and, if you tire of the scene, there are several more bar and restaurant options within the same block.

Essentials

This is my primary grocery store as it is only about two miles away. It is a full-service grocery store, though, they do not sell beer, wine or liquor at this store. There are, however, convenience and package stores within close proximity.

Entertainment & Activities

My kids love this place! (And so do I). Surrounded by the enormous and beautiful Franklin Park, this zoo features many different species of animals including, giraffe, lions, tigers, zebra, kangaroo, emu, ostrich, gorillas and so many more. There are many interactive opportunities for the kids including camel rides and feeding sessions. I highly recommend!

Arts & Culture

Fun for all ages, this museum has much to offer and is one of the starting points for Boston's famous Duck Boat Tours. Enjoy the museum and then climb aboard a WWI amphibious vehicle for a tour around the streets of Boston and a splash-down into the harbor and up the Charles River!
