This is our favorite pizza, but the place also has a world-class deli for salads, sides, etc. If you are a chocolate lover, we always grab a piece of their Lovin' Spoonful cake.....prepare to hate yourself for your gluttony....

This is a very iconic Pensacola establishment, so Irish that you are transported out of the South. The budget-friendly food is enormously portioned and the atmosphere is boisterous and fun. Go at peak times (small wait usually) and get in on the interactive music. You will definitely sing The Unicorn Song and may just be publicly goaded into kissing their famous Moose!

This place is the BOMB!!! Seriously.....The groceries are both standard AND gourmet. There is a deli with killer food at budget prices for take-outing, a sushi chef, excellent beer and wine selection and a little corner coffee shop, The Drowsy Poet. It is a three-block walk!

CAJUN!! Really good Cajun! The cheese grits are scrumptious and you can order them with your own fixin's, which are all high quality and prepared perfectly. There is also a Cajun market for take-home ingredients.

THIS place.......great pizza inside an old mental hospital. 'Nuff said but I'll go on........The joint is cool. Caters to the younger crowd but I go anyway. The setting is very One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, maintained just as it was when they were performing lobotomies and shock treatments. (Just kidding I don't know if they did that here, but it sure looks like they might have!) The walls in the back room are covered in coloring pages of pizza slices submitted by every manner of artist and funny people, worth going just to see these! This huge building has been converted into business spaces and private offices, but stand outside and look up and you can almost hear the screams........

This is a little downtown music venue which attracts some big names as they pass through to larger venues. The price is super reasonable, usually under $25 to see someone up close. Not a lot of seating, be prepared to stand for special stars, but this is the price of economy ticketing here.

Hands down the best spot for a cocktail at sunset. Locals of every variety gather here like a secret club for the sinking of the sun. It is a bit of a bonding experience to our area and it's indigenous people. You will remember this sunset in our town with particular fondness.

The best of our local artist offerings, this place is an artist coop so you will be supporting the area talent with your souvenir-shopping dollar. So many beautiful and creative pieces spill onto every surface and their personal stories are told by the coop artist behind the counter. Must offer my favorite: Christine Chandler Designs, who creates the most unique leather and pearl and copper jewelry, featuring hand-drilled pearls, fine-quality leather and flame-braised copper. Each and every creation inspires a conversation with an admiring stranger when worn out and about!

Whether or not aviation is your passion, this museum is one thing you should not skip if you have the time. There is a giant Imax theater showing all sorts of visual films. There is an aviation bar for cocktails, where you just may find yourself chatting up a Blue Angel pilot or a retired Brigadier General or a gung-ho naval air recruit.

You can't skip this. Again. You can't skip this. Fort Pickens holds an integral place in our nation's history. Here is where Geronimo was imprisoned while members of his family were imprisoned in St. Augustine, FL. It is a giant old fort set at the mouth of the pass to guard our city in times of war and war came. There are tours, a museum and plenty to see by car or afoot. Bring your camera for some incredible shots inside the old cells or over the ramparts out to sea.

This train trestle is a local work of art, decorated liberally over and over by every manner of artist. Make your own graffiti mark or just see what's there for your amusement. The bridge will reflect a season, occasion or cause throughout the year, and in between reflects the colors of local hearts as they share their passions for each other, memorials or their artistic brilliance.

A consignment mall for antiquers and crafters, it advertises itself as the largest of it's kind in the state! It is huge and full of the stuff of your childhood and your grandparents' childhood. If the beach weather sours, this is a wonderful spot to get out of the rain or heat.
