The heart of Paimpol is centred around the harbour and the streets of the historic centre. Market day- Tuesday Take the century old steam train called the Vapeur de Trieux along the Trieux River between the Paimpol and Pontrieux(May to September only) Beauport Abbey is an evocative abbey in a lovely setting on the edge of Paimpol, and includes the ruins of an abbey church and also related monastic buildings.

The Armoipark is fun for families. Note- in this swimming pool and others in France for hygiene reasons your swimsuit cannot be something you could be found wearing outside the pool. That means no trunks, Bermuda shorts, T-shirts or anything that is not strictly meant for swimming.
