It's the nearest restaurant from the apartment, 15 min walk down to Wilderswil. The food is good, service is fast and friendly. It's especially good for families with children, because it has indoor and outdoor playground. We love to go there with our children!

The Schilthorn became famous as a location for the 1969 James Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service”. The revolving restaurant at the summit, which rotates around its own axis once every 45 minutes, owes its current name Piz Gloria to the film production. Interested visitors can follow in James Bond’s footsteps in the interactive Bond World exhibition or on the 007 Walk of Fame. The Skyline Walk at the Birg middle station lets you stare into the abyss below. And if that’s still not enough excitement for you, why not take the Thrill Walk, a 200-metre long rocky path down among the vertical walls of the rock massif.

It's our favourite hiking trail. If you are fit, try to reach it from the apprtment - 3 hours of unforgetable walk will leave in your memories and will be rewarded with a cold drink in the restaurant on the top of the mountain.
