Vietnamese sandwiches and average about 4 bucks each. They are HUGE and worth every penny. The best is the grilled pork, but they also have chicken and vegetarian options.

This place is oldschool. Its a no frills restaurant, but totally worth it. They have 2 sides. One is family friendly, and the other has a bar. You order your steaks and get a salad and potato with it. Its been around since the '60s. The prices are unbeatable. The main thing I want to stress about this place though is that it is CASH ONLY. I do believe they have an ATM, but you know...service fees. Come with cash!

This is the oldest bar in Denver. Jack Kerouac used to hang out there. They also serve yummy food until 13o in the morning. There are no TVs and they usually play classical music. It also has an awesome patio. Its just right outside of downtown by the Platte river

Its a bar with oldschool arcade and pinball. Its right in LoDo, so there are many other bars to hop around too. They are 21+ after 9 pm.

Mount Evans is the big mountain west of Denver. You can drive up to the very top. If you want to actually summit, its a short hike from the parking lot. This drive offers stunning views of the mountains as well as the city of Denver. There are mountain goats that roam around the top. There is also the possibility of running into some elk up there. I believe its $10/car. Everyone I have sent up there has said it was totally worth it. The road to the peak is not open during winter months, but the road to the lodge is open year round

Redrocks is a concert venue as well as an awesome state park. I highly recommend this, and have some geological information regarding the area if that piques your interest.
