Places to Visit; Schoodic Point Part of Acadia National Park in Winter Harbor, ME Distance: 34.8 miles Schoodic point is not to be missed. It is located in a lesser-known section of Acadia National Park. It’s the best place for hiking, scampering on the rocks, free climbing, watching the dramatic surf crash against the cliffs and as always for a picnic. Be careful not to wander too close to the surf, stay on dry rock, the surf and undertow are very strong here. The views are amazing.
