Sightseeing
Yokobori Beach (Yokobori Kaigan) is a few minutes around the corner on foot. There, they have bicycle rental, row boat rental and a number of other seaside items.
It's a nice place to watch the boats pass by on their way in/out of the marina as well as check out some of the tidepools or simply chill on the beach.

Many enjoy the island for its flora & fauna, it's 3 lighthouses, restaurants and ability to see Mt. Fuji when the conditions are right. Uma-no-se (Horseback) Cave Mouth is one of the area's most photographable sites, and is a must visit location for any trip to the Jogashima penninsula. Whether a seasoned pro, a dabbling amature or otherwise photographers of all skill levels will appreciate the view. Uma-no-se makes for excellent night captures of the stars and with clear conditions, Mt Fuji as well.
