Sightseeing

Yokobori Beach (Yokobori Kaigan) is a few minutes around the corner on foot. There, they have bicycle rental, row boat rental and a number of other seaside items. It's a nice place to watch the boats pass by on their way in/out of the marina as well as check out some of the tidepools or simply chill on the beach.

Well known for sightseeing, the bridge you cross to get to Jogashima Island is a popular sightseeing spot in the area. Many enjoy the island for its flora & fauna, it's 3 lighthouses, restaurants and ability to see Mt. Fuji when the conditions are right. Uma-no-se (Horseback) Cave Mouth is one of the area's most photographable sites, and is a must visit location for any trip to the Jogashima penninsula. Whether a seasoned pro, a dabbling amature or otherwise photographers of all skill levels will appreciate the view. Uma-no-se makes for excellent night captures of the stars and with clear conditions, Mt Fuji as well.
