Glen Arbour is an expertly designed and meticulously maintained private course for golfers of all abilities that offers challenging greens, beautiful scenery, and superior service. Our 18-hole champion course provides great diversity in hole design, challenging elevation changes, and a demanding layout. In addition to the 6,800 yard par 72 18-hole course, we also offer a 9-hole par 3 executive course as well as practice facilities on site. A Course with a Country Club feel. Our stunning clubhouse sets us apart from other public courses, and is home to The Deerfield Pub, locker rooms, and various function rooms that can accommodate up to 200 guests. With a Great Room that includes a full length deck and gazebo and offers panoramic views of Sandy Lake, our clubhouse is a perfect location for weddings, meetings, events, and private dinners. We provide a superior golf experience to players of all abilities on the most beautiful course in the city. Book your Tee Time! Public Par 3 Deerfield Course All are welcome to play and enjoy this course designed for public play by renowned Canadian golf course architect, Graham Cooke, our Par three, nine hole Executive Course is ideal for novice golfers, or for serious players wishing to hone their short game. The Deerfield Par 3 was built and is maintained by the same staff and with the same equipment as our Championship 18-hole course. Holes range from 50 yards to 135 yards, and the tee decks are made with a new form of artificial turf in order to protect our tees from excessive wear and tear. By design, the greens on this course run a little slower than the greens on the full course. We hope that by doing this, the greens will be more forgiving for less experienced players. Please note bookings are required to play the Public Deerfield course. Course bookings can be made online as well as calling the Golf Shop or just 2 minutes walk to the club. Just 30 minutes from our unrivaled villa. Owner highly recommended!!! There are so many things to do in Hubbards, Nova Scotia. Stunning beaches like Queensland, Cleveland and Fox Point are a stone’s throw away, and just around the corner, on the Aspotogan peninsula, the soft pepper-coloured sand and cool, clear waters of Bayswater beach await. Once you’re in Hubbards, the rest of the South Shore is suddenly at your fingertips: Chester, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and Liverpool are just a short drive down Highway 103.
