Edgartown is a very preppy quintessentially New England, colonial, old whaling town. Edgartown is much slower than Oak bluffs and has a certain charm to it reminding visitors of a bygone era. Places to Visit/ Things to Do - • Jaw's Bridge - Famous for being featured in the Jaws movie & also popular for spot for tourists to jump into the ocean • Edgartown Lighthouse - Open to visitors it's a 5-10 minute walk from Church street • Shopping - Edgartown is home to some high end boutiques like Black Dog, Vineyard Vines & Lilly Pulitzer • Peninsula of Chappaquiddick - A short ferry ride from Edgartown Beaches - South Beach, open to all. Places to Eat & Drink - • Seafood Shanty - A great spot for seafood & outdoor dining • Among the Flowers Café - A great spot for breakfast & brunch • Sharky's Cantina - For some Mexican fare & Margaritas

Oak Bluffs is the most family friendly location on Martha's & has more of the beach town feel to it with a main street filled with beachy boutiques, icecream/ coffee shops & restaurants. Places to visit/ things to do - • The gingerbread cottages also known as "The Campground" these whimsical cottages were built in the second half of the 1800’s and are iconic to Martha’s Vineyard. Stop by the Cottage City Museum for a glimpse into history. A Popular spot for instagrammers! • Picturesque Ocean Park with its historic gazebo & lush flowers surrounded by beautiful victorian houses. • Flying Horses Carousel is the oldest continuous carousel in the United States • Oak Bluffs Harbor is boarded by restaurants and bars on one side. It also offers tons of water sport options for everyone. • Walk the North Bluff seawall, and cast your rod from the beautiful, and wheelchair accessible, fishing pier. Beaches - Eastville Beach, Oak Bluffs Town Beach and Joseph Sylvia Beach are open to all.
