The Tucson Botanical Gardens is one of our favorite places. Here’s a brief description: “Located on the site of the historic Porter property, The Canadian Garden Council and the American Public Gardens Association named Tucson Botanical Gardens as one of the top 10 North American Gardens worth traveling for. A lush oasis in the heart of Tucson offering mature trees and expertly cultivated foliage, specialty gardens such as the Cactus & Succulent Garden, Barrio Garden, and Herb Garden highlight the diversity of native plants. Tropical butterflies from around the world are featured in the Cox Butterfly & Orchid Pavilion Oct.–May.”

The DeGrazia Gallery in the Sun is a 10-acre National Historic District located in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains north of Tucson at 6300 N. Swan Road, 85718. This charming, often forgotten museum is fairly close to our location and offers a slice of Tucson art history Allow about two hours to view the paintings and to wander the grounds. Make Ute ti visit DeGrazia’s original dwelling and family capilla or chapel.

They have reopened their dining cafe. Edna's Eatery is open 7 days a week from 8:30 am – 3:00 pm.
They offer breakfast or lunch made with fresh, seasonal ingredients handpicked by their executive chef, Todd Sicolo. Enjoy the southwestern flavors of Arizona while safely dining outdoors in their beautiful Xeriscape Garden patio.
