“A network of trails for hikers, bikers, and equestrians. Quiet, clean, picturesque, and wild. Free entry and parking. Bring water. No services and no patrols. Sometimes porta-poties are on site, but not regularly cleaned. Liveoak stands, shallow canyons, grassy mesas, chaparral, framed views of Yucaipa Ridge and San Bernardino Peak. Vast views of southwestern Riverside County. Owls, deer, bobcats, lizards, and rarely a rattler. Bear and cougar reported, too.”

“Old liveoak trees, mowed grass, pick nick tables, playgrounds, paved parking and gravel equestrian parking, restrooms. Across the street and just down Wildwood Canyon Road a hundred feet or so from the entrance to Wildwood Canyon State Park. I think there are a couple drinking fountains. No fees or permits required.”

“Nearby steep trails for leg and low back strength building, vast picturesque vistas. Hiking, biking, and some equestrian. Lands of Yucaipa Regional Park and lands of Crafton Hills Conservancy. Closest access via the soccer complex road gate and parking on Oak Glen Road across the street from Shadow Hills Drive. The geotag and address are for a nearby subdivision neighborhood park. Parking is free just outside the gate. Don't drive past the gate if you are not there for a soccer function, you could get locked in. Also, good paved sidewalk and separate paved bike trail along Oak Glen Road.”
