“You will find this Centre within city limits in the south end. It has miles of walking paths and bridges over the ponds where wildlife, waterfowl and birds are plentiful. Visit the interpretive centres as well, then sit inside in the restaurant or outside on the deck for a comfy delicious meal. This is an official site in autumn to watch the goose flight. All within 30 minutes or so the migrating geese fly into this area for a nights rest and chow. It's a spectacular site!”

“One of the newest provincial parks, Upper Fort Garry Park tells the story of Winnipeg. First permanent European location in the area. The designers of the park made it easy to visualize the former structure. The Gate is the only original part of the Fort left. I see lots of people jogging through. ”
