Situated 2100 m above sea level, this peak offers a breath-taking view of rare flora and fauna. One can come across many exotic species in these parts. The route to the peak itself has a brilliant view along with a heart shaped lake, waterfalls and lush greenery the whole way. It is a prime spot for trekking but prior permission needs to be taken before going on these treks. Guided tours are available and can help in enhancing the entire experience. ”

“ Phantom Rock is one of the tourist destination in Ambalavayal in the Wayanad district of Kerala. It is an archaeological structure seen rarely in the world. This rock naturally resembles a skull, and thus it is known as Phantom Rock. This structure is situated 17 km from Kalpetta and can be reached by trekking only. It stands at the height of 2600 feet above sea level. It is near to "Cheengeri Mala". Edakkal Caves is also nearby. ”
