“After three years this opened in September! The Boathouse is only one part of The Gathering Place. It is only a few miles from the house and is an awesome place to walk around, plenty of inside seating to enjoy coffee or walk throw the many walkways. The park for children is amazing as well! ”

Parque
“It's on top of a large hill right outside of downtown, which makes for stunning views of the city. There's a community center, frisbee golf course, playground, and pool. Hidden back in the woods are GREAT climbing spots. Great for bouldering, or if you have equipment there's places to hook up and climb more challenging spots. You may have to ask someone once you're up there where the climbing spots are. My recommendation is to go to the second parking lot past the pool on the right. On the far left of the parking lot there will be a trail leading back into the woods where a majority of the good climbing is. Sounds sketchy, but it's so worth checking out if you like climbing.”
