Parque
“The Strand is gorgeous! Spend as much time here as you possibly can - BBQ’s, people watching, dog watching, walking, running, free exercise equipment, restaurants, gelato, coffee… Swimming in the Rockpool is safe all year round, though closed Wednesdays for cleaning at the time of putting this together. Swim in the stinger nets November to end of April, always. The water park at the other end of the Strand is great for kids and those young at heart. ”

Parque
“The Palmetum covers almost 17 hectares. It has a range of habitats to suit flora originating from the dry topics through to the wet tropical lowlands. In addition to the recreated habitat types, there are expansive lawns and water features frequented by numerous bird species. The changing face of the developing Palmetum allows visitors to return year after year and still be delighted with the seasonal changes that continue to occur. A popular place to get married, I am proud to have planted some of the first palms with my family in 1987. ”
