Parque
“Topeka's zoo is in Gage Park, as well as a lovely rose garden, a train, and the Helen Hocker Theater, which has shows put on by young people. There is also a great swimming pool and an old fashioned carousel. The Bark Park has two separate areas for large and small dogs, and is popular with dog owners”

“In the heart of Gage Park in Topeka lies Topeka Zoo, just brimming with animals from all over the world just waiting for families to visit! Here, the creatures of the world come to Kansas, so kids can explore the weird and wonderful species as they learn all about them, and the conservation of those who are endangered.”

“Midwest Health Aquatic Center features a 35-foot tower with five water slides three twisting, intertwining mat/speed slides, and a second speed slide and an open slide that drop patrons directly into the pool. The main activity pool also features a zip line, climbing wall and diving board. The bow tie wave pool is the only one of its kind in the Midwest and produces four different types of waves gentle, rolling, rocking and diamond. It is good for walking, tubing or swimming. The leisure pool features a children/toddlers play tower, a zero depth entry, basketball goals and volleyball net and a vortex sitting area which is similar to a whirlpool without the bubbles. ”
