Museum
“In 1969 the Tetbury Magistrates Court was moved to Cirencester, this in turn led to the local Police Force taking over a new building in London Road. At this time, in order to preserve a part of Tetbury’s heritage whilst keen to provide a ‘public’ council office, the Town Council purchased the Victorian Police Station and Courtroom in Long Street, now formally known as Tetbury Council Offices and Police Museum ”

Flea Market
“For centuries markets have been held under the Grade 1 listed Market House, the hub of the town and today there are still twice -weekly markets held there. Plants and produce such as vegetables and fish can be found there on Wednesdays whilst on Saturday you can find bric-a-brac, old books and jewellery. On other days you may also see traders selling anything from garden furniture to cowhides! Craft fairs and art exhibitions often occupy the upstairs room of the Market House.”

“Royal Oak is vegan and gluten-free friendly. Occasionally they have live music as well, so be sure to check out their Facebook page to stay in the loop. Great for families, but beware of the steep hill going down - especially if you have a pushchair. Lunch ends at 3pm, so be sure to get there before if you want to eat. Otherwise, sit back and enjoy the cocktails that they do on occasion, or a pint. They're pet friendly too. ”
