“5 minutes drive, plenty of free parking, supermarket, array of eateries (my favourites are the ice cream cafe downstairs which has chocolate dairy free ice cream :) blended cafe for their fresh juices, noodles for healthy-ish fastfood they can do gluten free and veggie/vegan) plenty of shops, kids play area, entertainment every now & again ...and most welcome on hot, sunny days: some shade! :) ”

Beach

The "Chillout" restaurant on the promenade of Christians is very good in every way with a menu for all tastes and some delicious homemade desserts. If you fancy something more casual this "La Pepa" market style where everyone chooses and pays his own and will sit on large banks on the terrace. Very good atmosphere normally. Los Cristianos is the only coastal town that existed before the tourist boom. Formerly a humble fishing village.”
