Beach
“One of the true heart of Phuket, Patong Beach, is often crowded and busy. The rocks at the north end of the beach has snorkeling where equipments can be rented easily. Some of the popular activities including jet ski, parasailing, banana boat and surfing as well. The best place to surf at Patong Beach is at the north end too. (If you like crowded beach, Patong beach is absolutely your choice, but if you like a less busy beach to chill, northern part of the beach is more suitable for you.)”

Stadium
“Bangla Boxing Stadium is the latest Muay Thai arena on Patong Beach’s boxing scene. Originally built on Bangla Road on a smaller scale, the stadium kept its name after moving to its new location opposite Banzaan Market on Sai Kor Road, the new large thoroughfare passing behind Jungceylon Shopping Mall. The stadium is difficult to miss: it’s a large two-storey building with a first floor made of beige stone-like sculpted cement and features four beer bars with hostesses, while the second floor is an amphitheatre surrounding the ring. At the front of the building you can spot large statues representing Thai boxers. ”

Carretera
“Bangla Road really comes to life once the sun sets. The road is closed to vehicle traffic and becomes a 400 metre festival of neon lights, loud music and cheap beer. Jammed most nights of the year, it is quite a friendly and lively place to walk around as bars and clubs compete with each other for customers. If you’re looking for a fun night out in Phuket, Bangla Road should be your first (and, often, only) stop. ”
