“Probably the most iconic museum in Stockholm. Impressive with the old warship Wasa in the center of the exhibition. But, don't get stuck with the ship, there is so much more to discover in the museum!”

“The amusement park Gröna Lund on beautiful Djurgården is really popular, its also really close to the famous Vasa museum. You can take a boat there from Slussen (departs from old town during rebuilding of Slussen). You can also take the subway to Kungsträdgården and then switch to the tram.”

“This is the old city in Stockholm. If you don't see this place, you can't say you have been into Stockholm. Go by metro and walk throw the old city. Close to city center. From here you can also go to see the king castle.”

“Modern Art Museum (Moderna Museet) collects, preserves, shares and exhibits modern and contemporary art. It opened in 1958, when modern art from the early 20th century and photography from 1840 and onwards was moved from the Nationalmuseum into a former navy drill hall on Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. The current building was completed in 1998, adjoining the old museum premises, and is designed by the Spanish architect Rafael Moneo. Moderna Museet also opened in Malmö in 2009. Moderna Museet is one of Europe’s leading museums of modern and contemporary art. Our vision is to continue to work in the open and experimental spirit for which Moderna Museet has always been known. The presence of the art and the artists is our key concern, along with our dialogue with an actively participating audience. By developing this interaction, we build a Museum for the future.”

“The beautiful island Djurgården is located about 25 minutes away by foot. Here you will find a lot of nature, cafes, restaurants, parks and museums such as Skansen, Vasa Museum, Gröna Lund and Rosendals Trädgård. Would recommend Djurgården for a sunny day that will be spent outside. During Christmas time Skansen is a lovely place with a lot of things to see.”

“$$ Welcome to one of the largest palaces in Europe! The Royal Palace is the official residence of His Majesty the King of Sweden, with over 600 rooms. The Royal Palace also contains the Armory, with royal costumes and armor, as well as coronation carriages and magnificent coaches from the Royal Stable. Make sure not to miss the parade of soldiers and the daily changing of the guard.”
