“The Little Things actually spreads itself across two floors and a shared yard of an old house. As promised, here you’ll find plenty of details, antiques, old books and furniture. Thankfully, the same principles are applied to the varied and tasty menu. The food bares homely and provencal feel with a careful balance between vegetarian and meat recipes.”

Iglesia
“Located at the very center of the city, this beautiful church dates back to the beginning of 20th century. It is an active church with services held every day (the morning one begins at around 08-08:30am on weekdays and around 09:00am on weekends, the evening one begins at around 16:00 or 17:00 depending on the season). It is visited by numerous locals every day, especially on the Holidays, as well as by many tourists interested in our religion and culture. It is a Holy place, very beautiful and very special. Cannot recommend you enough to visit!”

“The beautiful Cocktail Bar presents you a great panoramic view towards one of Sofia’s favourite spots — the tiny garden hidden between Solunska and Angel Kanchev str. Of course, you won’t come here just for the view, but for the cocktails as well. And trust us — you won’t be disappointed as some of the most experienced mixologists in the city practice their craft in this very location.”

Mercado
“Although every visitor to Sofia sees this big building in the city center, most never peer inside. You will find many stalls where to buy local food, some second hand cloth shops and even a bar in the center. Once outside, and looking around it, you will be sorrounded by the main temples of two religions: the big building of the Jewish Synagogue and the Bany Bashi Mosque, which resembles the ones in Istanbul as it was designed by the architect Sinan. ”

Parque
“At the centre of this neat garden there is a monument, dedicated to the medics, who gave their life in the Russo-Turkish War (1877-1878). Hence the name. The garden’s lawns are always well trimmed, with beautiful hedges, many benches, plenty of lights, and even ancient ruins. Favorite place for parents and children during the day and a cool spot for beer or two at night. We predict that the Doctor’s garden will be a trending spot in 2016. ”
