Beach
“Most picturesque beach with amazing deep blue clear water with a church on the rocks! Heaven...There is no canteen and no tavernas and only 2-3 trees for shade (you would need to go super early to 'reserve' some space under the trees). You can walk up to the church and continue until you reach the other side where you can jump of a small concrete platform (kids love it)”

Beach
“Another long amazing sandy beach with amazing blue water. There is a taverna at one end (also the beach has big pebbles at this end of the beach in case it gets windy). Good for kids. There is also a taverna that is on the hill overlooking the beach. There are trees for shade but you need to go early to 'reserve' one”

“This is a taverna just on the side of the main square in Chora. We often go there because the location is great. Good food, mostly grilled.”

“Best tavern at Mega Livadi. We make a point of visiting Mega Livadi to eat here. It's a great place for kids as well. Beach (not amazing) but shallow and right next to taverna”

“This is the village on the mountain also knows as Chora. Lots of tavernas, bars cafes and an amazing view from the very top. You can take car (but difficult to park during peak season) or take the bus”

Bar
“A bar (not café really) that starts getting packed later at night with people on the little alleyway. In 2018 it was shut down by police because of complaints of noise by the residents. It's a 'happening' place and quite hip to be there”

“Another hidden gem! A 15 walk downwards from the road and a slightly tougher walk up BUT an amazing sandy hidden beach. No taverna, no shade so go equipped. You can climb on the rocks on the right (if you are looking towards the sea)..keep going until you can't go any further...amazing blue waters.”

“The oldest taverna in Chora. Has traditional homemade greek food NOT made for tourists. Owner can be a bit grumpy and the place is not amazing, but the food is always good here!”

Point of Interest
“A beautiful beach with thin golden sand and trees for shadow. It is only a 15 min drive by car from Chora and 30 min walk from a path that starts from Chora and passes through wonderful natural landscape. This beach is good for families and for almost any type of traveler. There one can find two taverns for food.”

“This café is above a supermarket close to where the ferries dock. It's not my favourite but it does have a great view of the port and chora”

“My favourite place to eat after a long day at the beach. Mega Livadi is a small village with 2-3 tavernas that overalook a small bay with old mining bridges. The water is always calm here and it's never really windy. It doesn't really matter which taverna you go do. This is an absolute MUST VISIT place. If you walk up to the bridge you can see the sunset. The other taverna is called Maritsa and there a new one (haven't tried it) 1916”
