“Most of the buses in/out of Magnolia flow through or near this transit hub. You can catch the Light Rail from the airport into Westlake Station and then transfer to the 28, 33, 31. Or do as I do sometimes and grab a Lyft or Uber to get you the lsat few miles.”

“Such a beautiful and easy to access park on Lake Washington. I love to grab a blanket and lay on the grass with lake and mountain views of the Olympics and My Rainier (in the right weather). A lot of people will have gatherings here like picnics etc. You also can actually swim here... it's still cold but there is beach access and it is a great way to cool off on a hot day. Be careful because sometimes the contrast between the lake water and heat can be a bit drastic if you aren't careful. It's fun to bring something large and floaty and drift around but but be prepared for possibly choppy water conditions. ”

Parque
“One of the "smaller parks" in Seattle, this is always a great spot for a quick rest if you want to sit on some benches and look over the reflecting fountain and pool, or lay on a grassy hill. At this park you'll often find dog walkers and group games playing soccer/baseball/basketball/tennis/frisbee - people are more likely than not friendly, so join in! *Great to walk through if you are heading to the Link Light Rail Station RECOMMENDATION: Stop by "Dicks" and enjoy it at the park! DISTANCE FROM MY SPOT = .5miles ~8min to walk”

“The Seattle Children's Museum is located at the Seattle Center on the basement level of the Armory Building. Great way to see some of the Seattle Center and Space Needle and a great way to spend the day if it's raining. The Armory Building also houses a food court.”

“Established long ago with the goal of making a place large enough for kids to have a natural experience within the city limits. Nature center at the entrance; frequent scheduled events and guided walks. Quiet trails bordering the West Seattle golf course. Rock climbing practice areas (check with the park for terms of use); self-guided exercise routes.”
