“Best burgers in town! Everything, including the ketchup is homemade here. Choose from a veggie, beef, or chicken patty cooked up in all sorts of tasty ways. Hand cut fries are not to be missed. Salads and other goodies too, and an awesome beer list round out the fun at this local favorite. ”

“What can I say? Leopold’s is an institution in Savannah. At their busiest times, you’ll find yourself waiting in a line all the way down the block, but it is so worth it! Dozens of homemade flavors that change weekly, they’ll let you sample a few before you decide - decent sandwiches, too. ”

“Mrs. Wilkes’ Dining Room is located on one of the most elegant streets in Savannah. Jones Street runs through the center of the Historic District lined with moss laden trees and paved with cobblestone and near the trendy shops of the Design District. It wasn’t until 1987 that Mrs. Wilkes consented to a sign out front. She made this place somewhat of a legend, and her family is keeping it a family affair, continuing the tradition of fine Southern food.”

“I love this place. One of the best bakeries I've ever been too world wide. The biscuit breakfast sandwiches are amazing so are all the pastries. Open Thursday to Sunday only until 3pm. They sell out and often have long lines, but well worth it.”

“The best meal in town! I’ll have a list of all the places I like to eat available in your room but this place requires a reservation so that’s why it’s on this list. The vibe is casual but the service is 5 stars. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“Sean and I worked here for.. well.. quite some time! A local and visitor favorite that makes the best pizza in the South. This spot gets crazy busy, anticipate an hour+ wait on the weekends. The best time to go is Mon-Thurs 4pm-6:30pm or Fri-Sun 2-4pm.”

“In the same vein as Garibaldi’s, Circa is a great places for drinks if you’re not in the mood for a dive bar. The bar half of the French restaurant is beautifully decorated and dimly lit, and has a largely local customer base despite its location in the heart of downtown. (You can order food on the bar side as well. If you’re a burger lover, theirs is one of the best burgers in town!) ”
