“It opens at 8PM as a dining destination, thanks to its two restaurants (one for sushi, another for meat), and at around midnight it turns into a bar and club partying until 4AM. It's found next to the Kais restaurant, which belongs to the same group, and is the perfect destination for a cocktail on the waterfront, often to the sound of national and international DJs. The sand and the location make this as close as you get to the beach in the center of the city. It opens from Wednesday to Saturday (also on Tuesdays and Sundays during the summer).”

“he view, the snacks (the octopus with the lagareiro, € 13, is the most popular) and the cocktails (we recommend the mojitos, € 7.5) make it irresistible. Rain or shine, with or without company. The bar opened in October 2010 and is one of the best places to have a drink after dinner and watch the boats on the river or the traffic in the distance on the bridge.”

“Among the many gin cocktails of Matiz Pombalina, in Rua das Trinas. The bar with pombaline decor is one of the few places to drink a glass closer to Lapa.”

“Traditional Portuguese restaurant with a young and generally noisy clientele. It serves many of the typical dishes of Lisbon's cuisine.”

“Vanessa Vargas settled for two years in space that for 30 years belonged to a tailor. Turned it into a bar, but decided to keep the spirit. Contrary to what one might think "of the old house there was nothing," he clarifies. The sewing material, molds, tables, and much of the bar decor came from her grandmother's house in Brazil. Others, like the Singer sewing machines, are relics that came from collectors and still work (there is a Singer from 1864, one of the first to appear). The bar is a meeting space in the neighborhood, out of the confusion and shots gained fame by the samba wheels, usually on Saturday afternoon.”

“Contemporary architects Ricardo Carvalho and Joana Vilhena were responsible for turning a neglected truck garage into this minimalist, boxy bar. A glass facade connects the inside with the square outside, so passersby can gawp at the trendy young hacks, artists and musicians. The atmosphere's relaxed though, with decent DJs on the decks. Yugo Dee and DJ Lad — who also spin at equally hip Estado Liquido round the corner — are among the regulars playing electronica, old soul, funk and indie-pop. ”

“Best dancing atmosphere in Lisbon I like the ambiance on Thursday's: Hot Kizomba Nights and often they also play salsa in the other room.”
